Back by popular demand- It's the 3rd Annual FUDDSTOCK!

Well, guys this class has morphed into a free for all. Here’s the deal:

Bring whatever the hell you want to shoot. We don’t care anymore. Make it as Fuddy as possible.

• Mosin chopped and suppressed with a dot?

• Colt Commando with irons and offset red dot?

• Glock with a dot and dead batteries?

• 1911 with a Hi-Point magazine held in with duct tape?

Don’t care. Bring em. 

This class is a riot and is half history lesson, half show and tell, half training opportunity, and half jokes and stuff. That’s a lot of “halfs” but it is a ton of fun. You will be sure to see some whacky stuff and probably bring some wild gear yourself. 

While we would like you to bring a battle rifle in a man’s caliber you can do whatever you want, because we know you are going to anyway. 

This will be another fun 3 days of shooting rifles from up close to about 500 yards, with pistols integrated into the course.

Students should plan on shooting roughly 800 rounds of rifle ammunition and 500 rounds of pistol ammunition, but feel free to bring more if you want to shoot more, we will if given the opportunity. 

We will once again smoke cigars and have a BBQ dinner on the second night. There is definitely an informal costume competition. You might even win a prize. BONUS: Event registration includes commemorative Fuddstock 2027 T-shirt.

IMPORTANT - We cannot overstate the importance of medical training. Every class at Thunder Ranch includes a med block.

• Every participant must have a genuine (no generic brands) North American Rescue CAT, RMT ratcheting, or SOF®T tourniquet on their person during class.

• If you do not own one of the approved TQ’s you may purchase a CAT7 or RMT during checkout or upon arrival at Thunder Ranch.

Ammo can be sent up to 3 weeks prior to class. Be sure to include your last name and dates of class on the shipping label. EXAMPLE:

Snacks/Lunch/Beverages

Bring Lunch and snacks as needed. There will not be time to leave the range for food. A microwave and fridge are available. Every student will receive a Thunder Ranch reusable water bottle and water coolers are present on every range. We STRONGLY recommend bringing electrolytes as the ranch is a high desert climate at 5,400ft of elevation.

Travel Reminder

When traveling with suppressors and short-barreled rifles (SBRs), ensure you carry the appropriate documentation at all times, especially in case of police stops.

About Our Weather

Thunder Ranch is located at 5,400ft of elevation and is considered a high desert climate. The weather conditions are subject to change rapidly and can vary from cool mornings, to a hot afternoons, followed immediately by snow- not kidding. Layers are your best friend. You can have all the boxes checked on your gear list and still "fail" on your wardrobe. There is a lot of truth to the saying "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing."
