What You Will Learn
We have delivered this course previously for many years in various forms and like everything else we do, is ever being changed, refined, and made continuously better. We believe this to be the best iteration of it to date. With a focus on security and providing immediate medical aid in the event of an emergency, this course will challenge even the most experienced professionals and brand new students alike.
The course will provide training in, and if successfully completed, a certificate in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), as well as many additional considerations on Team Tactics, Emergency Response, Mass Casualty Events, etc.
This class covers multiple spectrums of the emergency event, from the initial notification and response, scene security, triage, treatment and management using MARCH, IFAK selection and use, as well as patient transport.
BUT WILL WE SHOOT? YESSSS. While the main focus is the medical part, we are integrating pistol and rifle into the course. Both offer their unique individual challenges in regard to problem solving, medical application, and patient movement.
We will include the rifles and rifle ammunition to reduce the amount of gear you need to bring.
Attendees will be provided with all medical training equipment and be provided with their own Thunder Ranch IFAK from North American Rescue, as well as an additional Ratcheting Medical Tourniquet from M2 INC.
Who should attend?
Everyone. Attendees can expect a from the ground up explanation and demonstration in an easy to understand and apply method. You can know absolutely nothing and not fall behind. That said, Medical Professionals, LE, MIL and other emergency providers will walk away with a new outlook and likely skills in regard to their profession. All will be challenged. With top level medical simulation equipment, attendees will have ample opportunity to practice tourniquet application, wound packing, dressing application, lots of shooting, as well as multiple scenarios.
