What You Will Learn

Thunder Ranch’s Urban Rifle Night Vision course is a staple offering that leverages our extensive experience with night vision systems. This course builds on your previous Urban Rifle training, teaching you to integrate those skills with night vision operations.

Over three days, you’ll learn to maximize your night vision system in conjunction with rifle use across various environments. The course utilizes the diverse terrain and exclusive features of Thunder Ranch, presenting new challenges in locating and engaging targets under night vision. Exercises cover both urban and rural settings, emphasizing equipment manipulation and situational awareness in low or no-light conditions. This advanced course is designed to push your limits and provide a full spectrum use case for your equipment.

Pre-Requisite

• Successful completion of Thunder Ranch's Urban Rifle 1 or another rifle course from a reputable school or instructor within the past 5 years.

• Must be physically capable of navigating terrain in the dark with full kit and legally possess and be able to use firearms and night vision equipment (ITAR Compliance).

• NO RENTAL UNITS are available.

IMPORTANT - We cannot overstate the importance of medical training. Every class at Thunder Ranch includes a med block.

• Every participant must have a genuine (no generic brands) North American Rescue tourniquet (CAT or SOF-T) or RMT ratcheting tourniquet on their person during class.

• If you do not own one of the approved TQ’s you may purchase one during checkout or upon arrival at Thunder Ranch.

Class Schedule

• TD1 begins at 12pm local time.

• TD2 and 3 start times will be decided upon conclusion of day 1

• Course ends at approximately 9pm local time on TD3.

When traveling with suppressors and short-barreled rifles (SBRs), ensure you carry the appropriate documentation at all times, especially in case of police stops.
